The Matchup
Again, this is the second match-up between Union and Lackawanna, with the Owls winning in Scranton earlier this year, 97-48. In the current Region XIX DII standings, Lackawanna is second at 8-2, two games behind undefeated Union in first. A win for Union keeps the Owls well in front of the field in Region XIX and keeps the unbeaten run going, more-or-less sealing the #1 seed in the Region XIX DII playoffs at the end of February. It also could push the Falcons behind Harcum in the standings, sliding into third place.
