WEST WINDSOR TWP., NJ -- Lackawanna College women's soccer finally got its 2023 season underway, falling to Mercer County CC by an 11-0 score on Saturday afternoon in West Windsor Twp., NJ.
 
The Falcons (0-1-0) got eight saves from first year keeper Reina Maldonado, and competed in the first of only a handful of games they are scheduled for this season in varsity competition. This also marks the first game for head coach Daniel Badyrka.
 
Lackawanna gets back to action next Saturday, October 7^th, when the Falcons are set to host Essex County College in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's teams at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore. The women's game kicks off at 12:00pm ET.
