SCRANTON, Pa. – Lackawanna College women's soccer gets their second game going on Tuesday, October 11
th, when they travel to Harrisburg, PA to take on the Harrisburg Area CC Hawks in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's teams.

The match is set for a 2:00pm ET start at the Harrisburg Area CC soccer field. The men's teams will follow at 4:00pm ET. There is no video livestream available for either match.

About the Falcons
Lackawanna College hasn't played since September 21
st, when the Falcons knocked off Penn State Scranton in a 5-0 victory. The Falcons had 48 shots, 27 on target, scoring a pair of goals in the first half and three more in the second half to pull away. Read the match recap

The Falcons got a pair of goals from
Gwendolyn Langley, while
Aliyah Shade (Richland, PA),
Ashley Goings (Bensalem, PA) and
Sarah Manweiler (East Islip, NY) all got a goal in the dominant Falcons victory.

Madison Magone (Rockaway, NJ) is the keeper for the Falcons, and didn't have much to do in the match with the Nittany Lions, making just a pair of saves on the three total shots from Penn State.

Megan Tweedy returns for her second year at the helm for the Falcons. Tweedy, a Lackawanna College graduate, also played soccer and basketball for the Falcons in her time at Lackawanna. She is a Lakeland HS graduate, and an NEPA native. She will be assisted by
Ashley Bruno, one of the top-scorers from last year's team, and inside the top five all-time in Falcons goals, ever.

About The Opponents
Harrisburg Area (1-2) comes into the game on a two game losing streak, having dropped matches at Montgomery County CC (6-3) and Lehigh Carbon CC (7-1).

The Hawks are led by Lauren Roeske, who has five goals and an assist on the season. All five of her goals came in the first match-up with Lehigh Carbon, a 5-4 win for the Hawks.

Morgan Mickle is the other goal scorer so far this season.
