About The Falcons
The Falcons (1-3) are fresh off a tough 89-70 loss to the #12 Union County College Owls this past Tuesday night. In that game, the Falcons fell behind early to the Owls, and were behind by 19 (45-26) at halftime. Lackawanna College, behind 12 third-quarter points from Gabrielle Jackson, closed the gap to 52-38 midway through the period, but the lead yo-yo'ed back and forth until the end of the quarter, when Union led 65-50. Lackawanna College used a furious 15-7 run in the first few minutes of the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to just seven (72-65) with just over seven minutes remaining, but the Falcons were out of gas, and couldn't keep up with Union's shot-making down the stretch.
