WEST WINDSOR, NJ -- The Lackawanna College Women's Soccer team fell on the road to the Mercer County CC Vikings, 9-1, on Saturday afternoon in a road match-up in Region XIX play.

The Vikings (5-5-0) scored early, but the Falcons (0-7-0) answered right back in the ninth minute, when a Rachel Apsley corner kick found Ashley Bruno, who scored her third goal of the season to make it one-all.

From there, Mercer County would take control, stretching their lead the rest of the way. 

Sophia Andreoli had 16 saves for the Falcons.

Lackawanna College returns to action on Wednesday afternoon, when they travel to Harcum College to take on the Bears in a doubleheader of action with the men's teams. Kickoff is set for 3:00pm at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken.
