SCRANTON, Pa. -- The eighth Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year is Lackawanna College football student-athlete, Jalen Fletcher (Bethlehem, PA)!

Jalen was the most effective of the backs on Sunday, going for 87 yards in just six carries, including the longest run of the game, a 33-yard touchdown run down the sideline. Fletcher averaged 14.5 yards per carry, and his 87 yards were the tops on a Falcon-side that had ten different rushers. The Falcons ran for 255 yards and averaged 6.7 yards per rush on the day.

Jalen is a redshirt first-year student-athlete at Lackawanna, and he will be a guest on a future episode of Falcons Corner, airing every Wednesday at 10am ET at lackawannafalcons.com/youtube.

Lackawanna College football is back to work on Saturday, November 1st, with a road contest at Monroe University in Mount Vernon, NY. Kickoff is set for 4:00pm ET.
