Mark Ross, who was named as the next head football coach at Lackawanna College, the third in program history, in December 2025. Ross has been coaching since pursuing his master's degree at East Stroudsburg in the 1990's, going from coaching defensive ends with the Warriors to working at Ithaca for eleven seasons at the Division III level, becoming Defensive Coordinator for his final four seasons with the Bombers. Ross then moved on to Misericordia University, where he became a head coach for the brand-new program in 2011. He spent nine seasons as the head coach at Misericordia, winning eight games and getting the Cougars to a postseason bowl for the first time in history in 2018. When the COVID-19 pandemic took out the 2020 season, Ross left Misericordia to be the defensive coordinator at Bloomsburg for three seasons in the PSAC. After that, he went to Cornell to serve as Director of Football Operations for a year with the Big Red, and then eventually made his way to Lackawanna.

WCU stumbled on its next drive, fumbling at midfield, and then went for it on its next drive on fourth-down deep in its own territory, but Shepherd got the stop and scored early in the fourth to go ahead 28-7. WCU added a touchdown on its next drive, but Shepherd ran out the final nine minutes with a killer drive, converting five first downs, including three third-downs.

Jim Clements, head coach at Kutztown, coached at DV and left for Kutztown in 2014, and Greco took over, turning the Aggies into a perennial champion in the MAC in Division III. His teams won 91 games and made six NCAA tournament appearances. He also has familiarity with Lackawanna College, as DVU's JV squad played against Lackawanna College in 2018. Coach Greco has won four games in each of his first two seasons with the purple and gold. Despite the records, he has had narrow losses in each of his three seasons. Before taking over for Clements at DVU, he was the offensive coordinator for eight seasons and an assistant for a total of eleven years with the Aggies.
