Scranton, PA -Â The Lackawanna College dropped both ends of its Region 19 Division II doubleheader to Delaware Technical Community College. The Falcons lost the first contest, 20-1, and the nightcap 9-1.
The Falcons hung with Del-Tech early, however, there were two innings that Lackawanna just wanted to forget. In the third the Spirit scored nine runs, and in the sixth they put 11 runs on the board. The Falcons' only answer was two runs in the fifth on a single by Camryn Dominano, a triple and fielder's choice byÂ

Makenzie Rose. Mackalya Quick added an RBI double.
Lackawanna recorded seven hits on the day. Mackayla Quick (3-0-2-1, 2B),Â
Morgan Mesaris (3-1-2-1, 3B) andÂ
Makenzie Rose (3-1-2-0) each collected multiple hits with Quick's double and Mesaris's triple being the team's only extra-base hits.
Meghan Fritz suffered the loss.
In the second game the Spirit took an early 9-0 lead with a five-run first inning and a four-run second frame. The Falcons' bats went cold in this contest as they could only reply with a run in the bottom of the first on a lead-off double byÂ
