Ayahna Fleisher Becomes The Seventh-Ever Lackawanna Softball Student-Athlete Named As An NJCAA All-American

6/11/26

SCRANTON, Pa. – Lackawanna College softball's Ayahna Fleisher (Duncannon, PA) capped a phenomenal first-year with the program, earning a third-team 2026 NJCAA Division II Softball All-American nomination, according to a release from the NJCAA Softball Committee.

Fleisher is just the seventh Lackawanna College softball player to be named as an All-American. Her nomination is the second-straight year where the Falcons earned an All-American nod. In 2025, outfielder Emmalee Mowery was a third-team nominee. Fleisher was named to the third-team as a utility player, and was the only All-American chosen from Region XIX.

Fleisher was outstanding this past season for Lackawanna College, posting a .542 batting average through 51 games. She had a 1.415 OPS, tops on the squad, boosted by a sky-high .608 on-base percentage. Fleisher scored 76 runs, first on the team, and posted 90 hits. She had 18 doubles, second on the team, was tied for the team-high with six homers, and finished with 59 RBIs, second on the squad. She also led Lackawanna with 22 steals.

As a pitcher, Fleisher finished the year with a 2.90 ERA and a 9-9 overall record in 22 appearances. She had 12 complete games and four shutouts. Fleisher struck out 120 batters in 113.1 innings this season, giving up 62 runs, 47 earned, on 119 hits. Batters hit just .258 against her this season.

Fleisher was a first-team All-Region XIX Division II selection this year, and she was also named to the NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region squad.

Revere recovered from a rough first outing where she gave up eight runs on six hits without recording an out to have an excellent season, striking out 143 batters, far-and-away tops on the team and one of the highest marks in all of Region XIX, on her way to 16 wins and a 2.90 ERA. Revere allowed 77 runs, 49 earned, in 118.1 innings, giving up 99 hits and striking out 143, while walking 84. Batters hit just .215 against her this season. Five times, Revere struck out ten or more batters, posting a career-high 15 Ks in a shutout win against Finger Lakes CC back on March 24th. She pitched or took part in eight different shutouts, including a combined perfect game against Morris back on March 26th.

Lackawanna was the only Region XIX team to have an All-American nominee. You can access the full 2026 NJCAA Division II Softball All-American teams via the NJCAA website, linked HERE.
