KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University had no trouble separating itself from Lackawanna College women's soccer, as the #4 Golden Bears scored four goals in the first 20 minutes and dominated in a 9-0 win at Keystone Field on Kutztown's campus on Wednesday evening.
 
The Falcons (1-12-0) could not get a word in, edgewise, as Kutztown (11-1-2) out-shot the Falcons, 31-0, with 17 shots on target, and had ten corners on the evening. The Bears scored goals in the 10^th, 14^th, 16^th, and 19^th minutes to build an insurmountable lead, took a 5-0 lead into halftime, and then scored four more in the second half.
 
Sophia Arvelo (Allentown, PA) had eight saves, four in each half. Seven Falcons went the full 90 minutes, with Kayla Torres (Hazleton, PA), Jayda Roque (Matawan, NJ), MacKenzie Seifried (Winfield, NJ), Mathea Solgaard (Trondheim, Norway), Alana Alayo (Cherry Hill, NJ), Evangelina Theodore (York, PA), and Isabella Caligiuri (Effort, PA) all went the distance for the Falcons for the game.
 
The loss is the ninth-straight for Lackawanna College, and the Falcons have now gone four games without a goal, and haven't recorded a shot in their last two games.
 
Lackawanna College will try to rebound in their next contest, a home game against Shepherd University on Saturday, October 17^th, at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm ET, and the game is the first of a doubleheader, with the women's teams playing first and the men's teams playing afterwards at 3:30pm ET.
