The FalconsÂ
Lackawanna (1-7-4) enters the contest with three-straight matches without a defeat, beating Pitt-Johnstown back on October 3
rd, and taking draws against East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg last week. In both those draws, the Falcons had to come from behind. Against Shippensburg, Lackawanna played the first few minutes with a bounce in their step and an energy that was lacking in their first meeting back on September 23
rd, but Shippensburg scored the opener in the tenth minute to go ahead. Facing a deficit, the Falcons flourished, growing into the game and eventually finding their equalizer in the 42
nd minute off a corner from
Will Clugh (Shippensburg, PA), which found the head of
Malik Salau (Lagos, Nigeria), who headed the ball into the corner of the net to tie the match. Lackawanna out-shot the Raiders, 13-11, with six shots on target. You can read the full recap
