Scranton, PA – The Lackawanna College Athletics Department is please to announce the date for its annual golf tournament, happening this year on Monday, June 3^rd, at the Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow, PA.
 
The annual event has served as a way for the College to reach and engage with supporters, community members, and coaches, in an effort to raise funds that will support the various Lackawanna College Athletics teams.
 
"Lackawanna College distinguishes itself by offering higher education opportunities to students who seek to excel, both in the classroom and on the field," said Erik Larson, Director of Athletics at the College, in a letter to supporters. "The goal of this event is to gather Lackawanna College Athletics supporters, friends, coaches, and community members to raise funds for the Lackawanna College Athletics Department."
 
There are nine different sponsorship opportunities for potential supporters, with varying degrees of commitment, from hole signs, to lunch sponsorships, to cocktail sponsorships, to becoming a premier presenting sponsor. There are also opportunities for single golfers or teams of four to sign up. There will be contests throughout the day, including closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, door prizes, best team scores, and more.
 
The full sponsorship package, as well as the golf registration form, can be found on the Lackawanna College Athletics website at lackawannafalcons.com/golftournament. Single golfers can register for $200, or $800 for a foursome, which includes golfing, lunch, cocktails, and dinner. The tournament is once again being held at Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow. Registration and lunch will start around 11:30am, with a shotgun start scheduled for 1:00pm. Cocktails, dinner, and raffles will follow afterwards.
