BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lackawanna College women's basketball played one of its best games of the year to keep its short win streak alive, as the Falcons scored over 100 points and shot well over 50% from the floor in a 104-84 win on the road at Northampton CC on Thursday night in the Lehigh Valley.

The Falcons (9-11) won their third straight game with an offensive explosion, shooting 52% from the floor and hitting seven three-point shots, while putting three players in double-figures.
Jayla South (First Year; Long Pond, PA) scored a team-best 32 points and pulled down six rebounds.
Nariyah Turner (Sophomore; Philadelphia, PA) added 28 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, and five steals. She also made eight free throws.
Desiree White (First Year; Carlisle, PA) added 27 points for the victors.

Zoe Cruz led Northampton (13-6) with 32 points while hitting six three-point shots. Kaniah Day added 24 points and ten rebounds, while Shanaiya Ellis had eleven points and nine assists.

Lackawanna has now won three straight games, and the Falcons get back to action on Saturday, February 10
th, when they host Salem CC for a Region XIX Division II women's basketball contest. The game will serve as Sophomore Day, and the Falcons will celebrate their lone sophomore, Turner. It'll be the first game of a doubleheader, with the men's team facing SUNY Rockland CC in the second game at the Lackawanna College Student Union.
