BLUE BELL, Pa. -- The Lackawanna College women's basketball team bounced back on Tuesday night with a solid 77-47 road win against Montgomery County CC in a Region XIX DII/DIII crossover game.
 
The Falcons (9-9) scored 44 points in the second half to blow open what, to that point, had been a relatively close game. Lackawanna was led by Gabrielle Jackson (Darby Twp, PA) with a season-best 21 points, while Nya Jackson (Harrisburg, PA) matched her season-high with 18 points.
 
Montgomery County CC (9-6) was led by Cha'nyah Dunston Mason, who had a game-high 28 points. Lily Sherman chipped in nine points for the Mustangs.
 
Lackawanna now sets its sights on its final Region XIX DII regular season game on Thursday, February 9^th, when the Falcons host the Raritan Valley CC Lions. The game is scheduled for a 5:00pm ET tip-off inside the Lackawanna Student Union, and will be the first game of a doubleheader, with the men's game following at 7:00pm ET.
