SCRANTON, Pa. --Â Lackawanna College got a career-high from
Jayla South and had four total players in double-figures on its way to its first Region XIX DII win of the season, 106-48, against Essex County College on Tuesday evening inside the Lackawanna College Student Union gymnasium.

The Falcons (3-6, 1-3) shot 43.8% from the field and got a career-high 29 points from South
(First Year; Long Pond, PA), who scored 20 in the second half, hit five three-point shots, and had 18 rebounds.
Desiree White (First Year; Carlisle, PA) added 23 points, while
Saraiah Franklin (First Year; Philadelphia, PA) had ten points and a team-high 19 rebounds, and
Zaliyah Small (First Year; Scranton, PA) put up 12 points, 14 boards, six blocks, and five assists.

Essex (0-6, 0-5) was led by Alana Nickels, who scored 23 points, and Kassandrah Phanor, who scored eleven points.

Lackawanna gets back to Region XIX action on Saturday, December 9
th, when the Falcons will host Middlesex County College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00pm ET at the Lackawanna College Student Union gymnasium.
