Wye Mills, MD – the Lackawanna College women's basketball suffered their second loss to start to the season. The Falcons (0-2) trailed Chesapeake College by four at halftime and ultimately fell by four 80-76.
Lackawanna College had three players in double-figures on the day, including a team high 19 from first year player
Saraiah Franklin (Philadelphia, PA), was 8-13 from the field , 3-4 from the free throw line and grabbed 11 rebounds .
Alasiah Carter (Coatsville, PA) added 13 points and
Nariyah Turner (Philadelphia, PA) added 10 points.
Chesapeake's College Da'Myni Johnson led all scorers with 22 points.
Lackawanna College will be in action again Tuesday November 14 vs Union County College, 5pm, at the Lackawanna College Student Union.
