Cranford, NJ - Saturday afternoon the Lackawanna College women's team fell to Union County College 73-42 in the Region 19 Division II women's title game. Even with the loss the Falcons move on to the NJCAA District East AÂ playoff game and an opportunity to move on to the National Tournament. They will play that game next Saturday at Raritan Valley Community College.
As hot as their shooting was last Thursday today was just the opposite. The Falcon's had only two players with double-digit games.
Jamiya Eaddy scored 12 points and
Nya Morris contributed 11.
The Lackawana College Women's basketball team will face Region 3 Champion Niagara Community College in the East A District playoff Saturday April 10, time TBA, with the winner punching their ticket to the NJCAA National Championship held this year in Port Huron, MI.
