Scranton, PA - David Pope beat the buzzer with a tip-in to win the game 82-80 over Union County College in tonight's season finale.  Ahmir Ellzy led the Falcons in scoring with 25 points.  Nashawn Johnson added 19 and David Pope 12 points in the victory.  With 4.0 seconds left on the clock in the second half and the game tied the Falcons inbounded the ball in front of their home bench.  Nashawn Johnson attempted a deep three pointer that was off the mark and before the buzzer sounded David Pope was able to get a few fingers on the ball and tip the ball in for the game winner.

The Falcons have secured the #1 seed in this weekend's NJCAA Regional 19 Championship.  The Falcons will face the winner of Thursdays, April 1st match up between Raritan Valley and Union County College on Saturday April 3rd at Noon.  Unfortunately fans are not permitted at Region 19 indoor events.  The game will be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/lackawannacollegefalcons.
