Scranton, PA - When Lackawanna College plays Union Community College it is a guarantee that you will see a hard-fought battle between the best in Region 19 Division II women's basketball. Today was no exception as the Falcons out dueled the Owls for a 73-63 win.

Briel Herbert.and Nya Morris led the Lackawanna College Falcons to victory. Herbert scored a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds while Morris also registered a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.

Also contributing to the winning cause was Gabrielle Jackson with 13 points and six assists and Kiana Williams with three blocked shots and four rebounds.  The triumph was sweet revenge for Lackawanna because Union knocked the Falcons from the undefeated ranks earlier this week.  

The Falcons next contest is Thursday when they host Harcum College at the Student Union.  Due to Region 19's Covid-19 restrictions this game is not open to fans but will be live-streamed at www.youtube.com/lackawannacollegefalcons
