BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Lackawanna College Women's Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches (3-0, 3-0) on the road against Harcum College on Monday evening.

The Falcons (0-6) were led by
Paetan Benson, who had three kills in the two matches, while
Breonna Pollack had six digs combined through the two contests.

Harcum (9-4) got off to a fast start in the first match, winning the first set 25-3. The Bears' quick passing and strong outside hitting overwhelmed the Falcons, who fought hard to keep up.

The second set went much the same, at 25-7. Part of the issue for the Falcons throughout the match was 14 service errors through the three sets. The third and final set ended 25-9, giving Harcum the win in match one.

After a 25-3 first set of the second match, the Falcons showed a little more fight, keeping things close early before bowing to more pressure from the Bears. The second set would finish 25-8.

The third and final set of the night saw was more competitive from Lackawanna College, as the Falcons continued to scratch and claw for points. It finished 25-11, giving Harcum the 3-0 win and its second victory of the evening.

Lackawanna College has a short turnaround, as the Falcons host County College of Morris on Tuesday, October 19
th at 7:00pm at the Lackawanna Student Union. It's the second of four straight matchdays for Lackawanna College. The Falcons will welcome Northampton Community College for a doubleheader starting at 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 20
th, before travelling to Morris on Thursday, October 21
st for a 6:00pm start.
