Aidan Lugo is entering his second fall season as an assistant football coach with Lackawanna for the 2025 campaign. He had previously joined the Falcons staff as the cornerbacks coach for the spring portion of 2024.
Lugo oversaw a Falcons receiving core that had six players with ten or more catches, hauling in 23 touchdowns as a unit. Receivers Daryl Harper and Carmelo Taylor each finished with six touchdowns on the year, while receiver Michael Hodge had 559 yards receiving. It was the most receiving yards for a Falcons' receiver since the 2021 campaign.
Lugo came to Lackawanna after spending time at Sussex County CC as a football coach with the Skylanders for two seasons. While with the Skylanders, Lugo coaches the wide outs, helping the Skylanders average 543 yards of offense per game in 2023, and 37.2 points per game.
Lugo, a Hillsborough, NJ native, played wide receiver and was an assistant coach at his alma mater to start his coaching career. After his HS playing days, Lugo went on to attend Santa Barbara City College (CA), where he played wide receiver for the Vaqueros.
