SCRANTON, Pa. -- The fourth Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2026-2027 school year is Lackawanna College football student-athlete Jalen Fletcher (Bethlehem, PA)!

"Fletch" was a bright spot this past weekend against Clarion University, rushing for a game-high 108 yards on 16 carries, averaging nearly seven yards per carry and driving the Lackawanna offense forward. His longest rush of the day was 23 yards. Fletcher leads the team this year with 166 yards rushing and two touchdowns. He also has nine catches for 41 yards on the season out of the backfield. Jalen had 367 yards on 66 carries last season, scoring three touchdowns in a reserve role for the Falcons in the backfield. 

Jalen is in his second year at Lackawanna College, after transferring in from Division I FCS Stonehill. He's majoring in business at Lackawanna, and is originally from Bethlehem, where he went to Bethlehem Freedom HS and starred at RB for the Patriots.

The Falcons are back to action on Saturday, September 26th, when they are set to travel to take on East Stroudsburg University for the first time in program history. Kickoff is set for 6:35pm ET at Gregory-Douds Field at Eiler-Martin Stadium in East Stroudsburg.
