MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Lackawanna College women's soccer couldn't generate any offense in the face of suffocating play from Millersville, as the Marauders used early goals from Aubrey Strohecker in each half to win, 2-0, in an NCAA women's soccer contest on Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Field at Millersville.

The Falcons (1-4-0) had just one shot all game, while the Marauders (5-1-0) peppered the goal with 21 first-half shots and 33 shots all game, 13 on target. Strohecker scored a pair, getting Millersville on the board in the third minute to immediately put the Marauders up, and then scoring five minutes into the second half to make it 2-0.

Sophia Arvelo (Allentown, PA) had another outstanding game in net for the Falcons, posting eleven saves. Millersville outshot Lackawanna 33-1, and they had 19 corners to zero for the Falcons, emphasizing the constant pressure.

The loss keeps the Falcons from adding to their historic win from this past Wednesday, and Lackawanna will look to bounce back against another PSAC opponent on the following Wednesday, September 16
th, as the Bloomsburg University Huskies make their first-ever appearance in NEPA. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm ET at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore.
