NEWARK, Del. – In another must-win for Lackawanna College men's basketball, the Falcons delivered a 79-61 victory on the road at Delaware Tech in Region XIX Division II play on Saturday afternoon in Delaware.

The Falcons (14-13, 5-6) led 34-19 at halftime, then expanded that lead out to 20+ in the second half, never truly getting challenged by Delaware Tech (5-18, 2-9).

Lackawanna got 18 points off the bench from
Khalil Kemp (Philadelphia, PA), as well as eleven points apiece from
Latrell Mark (Frederick, MD) and
Jaksa Pejovic (Podgorica, Montenegro).

The win keeps the Falcons alive for a Region XIX DII playoff spot. Lackawanna, now 5-6 in region play, needs to win its final regular season region contest to qualify for the playoffs. The final region game of the regular season is on Tuesday, February 17
th, as the Falcons travel to take on Essex County (5-5). Tip is set for 7:00pm ET inside Essex's gymnasium in Newark, NJ, and the game is the second of a doubleheader, with the women's teams playing first at 5:00pm ET.
