SCRANTON, Pa. -- The eighth Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2026-2027 school year is Lackawanna College football student-athlete Javian Pujals (Bethlehem, PA)!

For the second-straight week, Javian led the Falcons in tackles, posting eight stops, four solos, and two tackles-for-loss against Millersville this past weekend in the narrow loss. Pujals, thrust into the starting role two weeks ago, was active early and often, helping keep the Falcons competitive long into the fourth quarter against the Marauders.

On the season, Javian is up to 24 total tackles, including 15 solo stops, and a team-high five TFLs on the year. He has one sack and one pass break-up this season. Pujals is a first-year student-athlete who is studying Business at Lackawanna College.

The Falcons are on the road this upcoming weekend, playing at Shepherd University on Saturday, November 7th. Kickoff is set for 12:00pm ET at Rams Stadium in Shepherdstown, WV.
