SCRANTON, Pa. -- The seventh Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2026-2027 school year is Lackawanna College women's volleyball student-athlete Jana Hofmann (Colorado Springs, CO)!

Jana had a season-high ten kills against Lock Haven last Friday, hitting at a .158 clip and posting five digs. She followed that up with nine more kills on a season-high .286 hitting percentage and six digs against Bloomsburg on Saturday. Hofmann has been great on offense for the Falcons in her last four matches, posting 37 kills on .213 hitting over the last two weeks.

On the season, Jana is up to 89 kills for the year, first on the Falcons, and also leads the team with 13 aces and posting 101 digs, second on the team. Jana is a junior at Lackawanna College, studying Medical Administration.

The Falcons are back to action against local opponent Wilkes University on Wednesday, October 21st, as the Colonels comes to Scranton to take on Lackawanna. First serve is at 6:00pm ET inside the Lackawanna College Student Union.
