ROCHESTER, NY --Â Lackawanna College men's soccer couldn't offer much resistance to a dominant Monroe CC squad on Saturday, as the Tribunes pumped eight past the Falcons for the 8-0 win in non-region action at DiMarco Field in western New York.

The Falcons (0-1-0) were outshot 39-to-3, with 20 Monroe shots on target. Keeper
Ruper Deniz (Dickinson, ND) was under pressure all afternoon, coming up with 12 saves. Both
Diego Semedo (Dunmore, PA) and
Romans Outland (LaGrange, GA) each registered shots on target in the first half for Lackawanna.

Monroe (4-0-0) put five goals past the Falcons in the first half, which included two goals inside the first four minutes to put the Falcons on the back foot the rest of the way.

Lackawanna College will not be back in action until next Saturday, September 13
th, when the Falcons host Mercer County CC in the Region XIX DII opener. The game is set for a 2:00pm ET start at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore, and it will be the second of a doubleheader, with the women's teams playing first at 12:00pm ET.
