SCRANTON, Pa. – The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced its 2024-2025 Academic All-Conference Honors list last week, and Lackawanna College Esports was well represented, as the Falcons placed 23 student-athletes in their first year of competition in the conference.

According to a release from the conference on July 18
th, 473 student-athletes representing 38 different NECC schools were "recognized for their outstanding academic accomplishments."

Lackawanna College, competing in the NECC for the first time in 2024-2025, placed 23 student-athletes on the rolls, tied with Concordia University for fourth amongst all schools.
Â
To be named to the Academic All-Conference lists, a student-athlete had to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
