SCRANTON, Pa. -- The eleventh Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year is Lackawanna College football and wrestling student-athlete, Brodie Daugherty (Manheim, PA)!

Last Thursday night, Brodie had three tackles, a TFL, and a fumble recovery in the loss to Snow College. His fumble recovery came in the first half, in the midst of a stretch where the Lackawanna defense got a turnover on downs, a fumble, and back-to-back punts to keep the Snow Badgers off the board initially. The next night, after that physically and mentally exhausting game, Daugherty suited up on the mat for Lackawanna College men's wrestling, where he capped a 34-15 win over Bergen CC with a dominating victory by fall over Diego Camargo in 2:03. Daugherty was well on his way to a tech fall win, before getting Camargo turned over and down for the pin. Daugherty finished the football season at second on the team with 43 total tackles, including 19 solo stops and 2.5 tackles-for-loss this season. 

Brodie is a first-year student-athlete at Lackawanna College and he will be a guest on a future episode of Falcons Corner, airing every Wednesday at 10am ET at lackawannafalcons.com/youtube.

While the football season has concluded, Daugherty will be back on the mat for Lackawanna College men's wrestling this coming weekend with a handful of matches, starting on Friday, November 21st, with an away dual at Kean University in Union, NJ, then continuing on Sunday, November 23rd, with the East Stroudsburg Quad Duals against ESU, Marymount, and Felician University in East Stroudsburg, PA.
