SCRANTON, Pa. -- The sixth Lackawanna College Athlete of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year is Lackawanna College women's soccer student-athlete, Elizabeth DePrimo (Dunmore, PA)!

Despite only just coming back from injury and having to deal with a lack of numbers in front of her, Elizabeth had a season-high 19 saves and only let up five goals in a 5-0 loss to Mercer County CC this past weekend. DePrimo and the Falcons had just nine, sometimes even eight players on the field at a time on Saturday, and the Mustangs put the Falcons under constant pressure with 34 shots, 24 of which were on target. Still DePrimo and the short-handed Falcons survived, keeping the game at 2-0 well into the second half. Elizabeth has 47 saves in four games played this year. 

Elizabeth is a first-year student-athlete at Lackawanna, and she will be a guest on a future episode of Falcons Corner, airing every Wednesday at 10am ET at lackawannafalcons.com/youtube.

Lackawanna College women's soccer has a home game coming up this weekend, when the Falcons are set to host the Essex County College Wolverines. Kickoff is set for Saturday, October 18th, at 12:00pm ET from Schautz Stadium in Dunmore.
