SCRANTON, Pa. – Lackawanna men's soccer earned a pair of selections to the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) All-Conference team, as announced by the conference on Thursday, November 14
th.
A pair of sophomore midfielders,
Ermir Hoti (Gjakova, Kosovo) and
Guillermo Ramírez (Valencia, Venezuela), were the pair representing the Falcons on the 15-person team. The Falcons finished the year with a 4-6-0 overall record, falling in the Region XIX DII playoffs.
Hoti had a goal and three assists this season. While he was listed as a midfielder, Hoti played much of the season at the back, helping to try to shore up the defense. Hoti's goal was a free kick against Union College (NJ). He picked up his three assists against Union, Northampton, and County College of Morris. Hoti finishes his Lackawanna career with eleven goals and seven assists.
Ramírez had a goal and an assist this past season from his midfield spot. Both of those came in the 9-0 win against County College of Morris back in October. Guillermo finishes his Lackawanna career with five goals and two assists. He was the Region XIX DII Player of the Year last season.
