BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Lackawanna College women's volleyball took to the road and took care of business, sweeping past Harcum College in three sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-13) on Tuesday evening in Region XIX DII and EPAC play on the road.
Â
The Falcons (14-4, 5-0) had a tough match early, as the hometown Bears (5-8, 2-3) battled throughout the first set, with Harcum's play at the net really giving Lackawanna fits, especially late as Harcum tried to close in late. The Falcons stuck with it, however, and took advantage of back-to-back errors from Harcum to take set one.
Â
Sets two and three went more the Lackawanna way, as the Falcons held a sizable advantage in the second set and won on another Harcum error, then they really pushed their advantage in the third set, going on a killer run to eventually knock out the Bears.

First-year player
Jana Hofmann (Colorado Springs, CO) led the way with 14 kills and four aces, while
Angelique Fuentes (Miami, FL) and
