ELMIRA, NY -- Lackawanna College got four goals from
Ermir Hoti in an impressive 4-0 victory on the road at Elmira College JV on Tuesday afternoon in Elmira, NY.
The Falcons (3-3-0) had 21 shots and ten on target for the game, and managed to score within the first three minutes thanks to some long balls that got in behind the defense, and one was fed back to Hoti (First Year; Gjakova, Kosovo), who put it away to give Lackawanna an early advantage.
The next half hour of game time, the Falcons showed their offensive threat, continuously exploiting space behind the defense, and created four solid chances that didn't pan out, leading up to another Hoti goal in the 33
rd minute. He'd add one more for the hattrick in the 42
nd, giving the Falcons a 3-0 lead heading into the break.
Hoti added a fourth in the 73
rd minute, coming courtesy of an
Isaac Nambu (First Year; Scranton, PA) assist. The defense held Elmira to just one shot on goal, keeping a second straight clean sheet for
Jahdale Givans (Sophomore; Bronx, NY) in goal.
Lackawanna College is back home on Thursday, September 28
th, when the Falcons are set to host the Harrisburg Area CC Hawks. That match is booked for a 1:00pm ET start at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore, PA.
