SCRANTON, Pa. --Â Lackawanna College women's basketball closed out the regular season in Region XIX DII play with a big Sophomore Day performance, putting five players in double-figures on their way to a 90-34 win over Raritan Valley CC on Thursday evening inside the Lackawanna College Student Union.

The Falcons (10-9, 4-4) shot 57% from the field in the first half and forced 15 turnovers, outscoring the Lions 22-0 on points off turnovers in the first half en route to a 46-18 advantage at the break. Five of the six honored sophomores scored in double-figures, with
Mahogony Collins (Harrisburg, PA) putting up a career-high 20 points and 20 rebounds, while
Seanlajah Smith (Philadelphia, PA) had her season-high with 18 points and six rebounds and
Nya Jackson (Harrisburg, PA) added 16 points, five assists, and four steals.
Gabrielle Jackson (Darby Twp, PA) put up 14 points and a team-high six assists, while
Cianna Roberts (Brooklyn, NY) had 13 points for the Falcons.

Raritan Valley (10-17, 0-8) was led by Tiana Presly, who had a game-high 22 points and five rebounds. Kerine Thomas added eight points for the Lions.

The win, coupled with Union's victory over Essex, puts the Falcons into third place in the Region XIX DII standings. Lackawanna College gets back to work next Thursday, February 16
th, when they travel to SUNY Sullivan. That game is set for a 5:00pm ET tip-off in Loch Sheldrake, NY.
