WYE MILLS, MD -- Lackawanna College's men's basketball head coach, Kirk Fallon, claimed the first win of his collegiate coaching career with a 72-70 victory over Chesapeake College. Aamir Mack (Atlantic City, NJ) led the Falcons (1-1, 0-0) with 26 points and a team high six rebounds.

Including Mack, Lackawanna had three players in double-figures. Pablo Avalos Ortiz (Málaga, Spain) contributed 12 points and five rebounds, while Mason Lawson (Boston, MA) scored 11 off the bench.  Joey Chapman (Reading, PA) also contributed a solid performance with seven points, five rebounds, four steals, and ten assists.

Andre Stewart led the Skipjacks (0-4, 0-0) with 18 points, while TaQuan Courtney added 17 points and Kyle Jones chipped in 13.

Lackawanna College remains on the road for its next game, as the team travels to Suffern, New York, on Tuesday to take on Rockland Community College. It will be the first of four away games played on the road before they play their conference opener against Mercer County Community College on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
