SCRANTON, Pa. --Â Lackawanna women's volleyball made quick work of visiting Manor College on Saturday morning, taking a brisk 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-7, 25-9) in non-region action to close out the regular season.

The Falcons (12-9) were dominant throughout, especially on serve, accumulating 29 service aces on the day.
Nadia Toth (First Year; East Benton, PA) led the way with nine of those aces, while also putting up a team-high nine kills on 15 attempts, hitting .400 for the match.
Angelique Fuentes (First Year; Miami, FL) hit at a .833 clip, putting up five kills, while
Alasiah Carter (First Year; Coatesville, PA) had five kills on .500 hitting.
Maddilyn Durfee (First Year; Buffalo, NY) had 22 assists, while
Zoe Ortueta (First Year; Miami, FL) had seven service aces and four digs.

Lackawanna College now gets a week off before hosting the Region XIX DII playoffs next weekend. The Falcons are the top-seed, and will face the four-seed Delaware Tech on Saturday, October 28
th at 10:00am ET inside the Lackawanna College Student Union gymnasium. The second match will be between two-seed County College of Morris and three-seed SUNY Ulster CC, with the championship match scheduled to take place between the two winning sides at 2:00pm ET.
