About The Falcons
Lackawanna College (1-2) enters the match on a two-match slide. After winning their opening night match against Lehigh Carbon last week, the Falcons have faced two very tough opponents, dropping a home match against Delaware Tech CC at home this past Saturday, and then another match at County College of Morris earlier this week. The Morris match was tight, but the Titans managed to pull off the sweep with a 25-22, 25-23, 27-25 victory.

Lackawanna College is led by middle-hitter
Hunter Heeman (New Milford, PA), who has a team-high 14 kills on the season. Heeman had eight kills and 18 digs on Saturday against Delaware Tech. Heeman also has six service aces, first on the team, and six assists this year, second on the squad.

Melanie Pinillos (Miami, FL) has been playing a little bit of everything so far this year, and is second on the team with nine kills this season, including a team-best seven in the win over Lehigh Carbon last week. Pinillos had a team-high 24 digs in the match-up with Delaware Tech, and is third on the team with four service aces so far this season.

Outside hitter
Delaney Hollenbeck (Kingsley, PA) is second on the team with five service aces this season, and leads the team in assists with 17 helpers on the year. She also has four kills on the season for the Falcons, all coming in the match with Lehigh Carbon.

The head coach for the Falcons is
Shelby Morgan, in her first season at the helm. Morgan previously spent seven seasons as the head coach at Cedar Crest College, where she helped transform the Falcons from a conference basement dweller into a perennial threat, culminating in an NCAA tournament appearance in 2021.

About The Opponents
Montgomery County CC (1-1) comes into tonight's match after dropping a 3-0 decision to Northampton CC on Tuesday. The Spartans smothered the Mustangs, winning their three sets with scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-14.

The Mustangs are led by Athena Berlingeri, who had a team-high 14 kills in the season-opening win at Harcum. Berlingeri was efficient in the sweep over the Bears, hitting at a .643 clip. Natalie Wernly is second on the team with ten kills, hitting at a .667 clip, with three service aces and a team-high 13 digs.

In that match-up with Harcum, Ciara Kicinski led the Mustangs with 27 assists. Samantha Ondik had a team-high five service aces, providing three kills for Montgomery CC.
