About The Falcons
Lackawanna College (6-2) is off to its best start since going 11-2 to open the first half of the 2017-2018 season. That year, the Falcons won their first six games, and were 8-1 before their second loss. Most recently, the Falcons were in action on the road against Mercer County CC on the road on Saturday. The Falcons had four players hit double-figures and built a 20+ point lead in the first half, one they'd never surrender, as Lackawanna led wire-to-wire in the 88-68 win. The Falcons shot 52% from the field, and forced 23 turnovers, 12 on steals, in the victory. Nasir Brown and Julian Wilson led the way, each scoring 20 points in the victory. Brown had 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists on 8-for-13 shooting, most of his damage coming in the first half and early in the second. Wilson saw his most playing time of the year, made the most of it, scoring 18 of his 20 points in the second half and bringing down 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the year. Caleb Mims added 13 points, while Malek Mims had 12 points for Lackawanna College.
