Lackawanna College Completes the Baltimore Circuit, Knocking Off Another Pair of Opponents in Baltimore County This Weekend

DUNDALK, Md. -- Lackawanna College men's basketball, two days after a victory at Catonsville, went back to Baltimore County to take on another pair of teams in the surrounding area, and came out with their first 3-0 start since 2017. 

The Falcons (3-0) beat CCBC Dundalk, the hosts of the CCBC Dundalk Men's Basketball Mixer, 89-59 on Saturday night, before coming back the next day and taking an impressive 80-77 win against Baltimore City CC on Sunday afternoon.

Lackawanna College forced 24 turnovers and shot 56% from the field in another impressive win in Maryland, this time by an 89-59 margin against CCBC Dundalk in the CCBC Dundalk Men's Basketball Mixer in Dundalk, MD on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Falcons (2-0) had three players in double-figures and 12 players that got on the scoresheet. Nasir Brown (Wilmington, DE) led all scorers with a game-high 23 points, going 7-for-12 from the floor, while also pulling down nine rebounds. Malek Mims (Bethlehem, PA) added 20 points and six rebounds, as well as a team-high six steals, and Niare Poplar (Philadelphia, PA) added ten points off the bench.
 
Lackawanna College's defense held Dundalk to 33% shooting, and scored 24 points off 24 turnovers. The Falcons also held a 42-24 advantage in the paint, and got 31 points from their bench.

The Lackawanna College men's basketball squad completed its tour of Baltimore County in Maryland with another win, this time a tight 80-77 victory over the Baltimore City Community College Panthers on Sunday afternoon at the CCBC Dundalk Men's Basketball Mixer.
 
The Falcons (3-0) won their third straight game against a team from Baltimore County, and are 3-0 for the first time since 2017. Lackawanna College was led by Malek Mims (Bethlehem, PA), who scored a team-high 18 points. Aamir Mack (Atlantic City, NJ) had 15 points, while Nasir Brown (Wilmington, DE) added eleven for the Falcons.
 
Lackawanna College steps up their competition in their next game on Thursday, November 10th, when they travel to Loch Sheldrake, NY to take on the nationally ranked SUNY Sullivan Generals.
