BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Falcons couldn't keep up with the Spartans on Thursday night, as Northampton won in a 3-0 sweep (25-8, 25-8, 25-18) over Lackawanna College in Region 19 action at Bethlehem, PA. The Spartans (12-1) have now won 12 straight matches on the year. 
 
Lackawanna (2-8) was led by Hunter Heeman (New Milford, PA) with three kills and six digs, while Nadia Monteiro provided a pair of kills and a service ace. Delaney Hollenbeck (Kingsley, PA) led the Falcons with seven assists and a service ace of her own, while Makayla Jones (Weatherford, TX) and Melanie Pinillos (Miami, FL) each had a team-high seven digs.
 
The Falcons will have little time to bounce back, as they get back out on the road on Saturday, October 8^th, for a tri-match vs. Cecil College and host Delaware Tech CC in Newark, DE. The Falcons take on the hosts at 11:00am ET, and then they'll face Cecil College soon after at 1:00pm ET.
