Montgomery led the third set 10-3 at one point, before Lackawanna College began its comeback, using a five-point run to cut it to 10-8, and then staying close at 12-10. Montgomery would hit another crucial run, scoring the next five points to lengthen the lead back out to seven, a gap the Falcons would not be able to close before falling 25-18.
