About The Opponents
Hagerstown CC (5-9-1) comes into the contest having dropped three of their last four matches. The Hawks knocked off Penn State Mont Alto back on October 8

th minute to keep things level at the break. It was a game where both teams played wide open and had similar shooting numbers, but the Raptors found a breakthrough in the 54
th minute, the first of three straight goals for Maila Hudson, and Montgomery pulled away for the win.
Â
Hagerstown has scored 29 goals in its 15 games this season, while giving up 41. The hawks have outshot their opponents 215-to-206 on the year, but their opponents have a better percentage (.199 to .135). th, against Patrick Henry.
Â
Kadenn Martin and Kayda Shives are the top scorers for the Hawks, each putting up six goals on the year. Martin had a season-high four goals back on September 17
th in an 8-2 victory over Christendom College, and she has put 15 of her 17 shots on goal, while dishing out a pair of assists this year. She has not played in the last two matches for the Hawks. Shives has scored her season-high of two goals twice this year, against both WVU Potomac State and Richard Bland College. Shives has an assist on the year, and has a team-high 58 shots on the season. Shives scored a goal in the win over PSU Mont Alto back on October 8
th. She had three shots in the loss to Montgomery this past weekend.
Â
Mikaila Ek is the team-leader in assists with four this year, and is tied with her teammate Diana James with five goals this season. Ek is second on the team with 43 shots, and has spread her goals out over five games. Ek picked up an assist on Chloe Bolland's goal in the loss to Montgomery this past weekend. James has 34 shots and is second on the team with three assists for the Hawks this year. James has spread her goals over five games this season, and she scored a goal in the win over PSU Mont Alto last week. She had two shots but no goals in the loss to Montgomery this past weekend.
Â
Delanie Dudley is the main keeper for the Hawks this year, having started and played in their last 12 matches. Dudley gives up around 2.7 goals per game this year, and has 79 saves on the season. She had seven saves in the loss to Montgomery College.
Â
The head coach for Hagerstown CC is Clifton Williams, now in his fifth season and sixth overall year with the program. Williams has been with the Hawks from the start, and has had Hagerstown around .500 in every season, winning six games in 2021, the most in the short history for the program.
Â
Williams is a Hagerstown graduate from 1985, and, prior to his return to Hagerstown, he had spent 36 years as a member of the local soccer community. Williams grew out the Tri-County Soccer Club in nearby Martinsburg, WV to a club with over 500 players across 30+ teams, and he was the head coach for the Martinsburg HS boy's soccer team, which he helped guide to the semi-finals of their section tournament.
