Scranton, PA – The Lackawanna College Overwatch team took on a tought Ryerson University team on Monday night in NACE Fall 2021 action, falling 3-0.

The first map of the night was Lijiang Tower and, right from the get-go, the Falcons dove onto the point. However, Ryerson was ready with their own counter punch to keep the Falcons at bay for the first map, where they'd come away with the win.

The second map choice was Eichewalde, a favorite for the Falcon players. The Falcons tested out their teleport strategy, but Reyerson held firm as the Falcons were clawing at the objective. On the defending round, Ryerson pushed the Falcons to their limits and captured the objective, sealing the second game. 

On the final map of the night, the Falcons selected Route 66. Lackawanna College went with a full turtle bunker strategy. The Falcons made their best push of the night and pushed the objective just shy of the first point. On the defensive end, the Falcons held Ryerson strong but got bested in the final seconds of the match.

The Falcons fall to 0-3 overall on the year. They'll be back in action on Friday (9/24) night when they take on Marion Military Institute at 6:00pm. You can watch the match-up on the Lackawanna College Twitch Stream here.
