The Lackawanna College Overwatch team fell to the St. Clair Saints on Monday night in NACE Overwatch action.

The first map of the night was Ilios and, right from the jump, the Falcons flew into the point.  However, the Saints executed a well-coordinated dive to keep the Falcons at bay for the first map, and to win the game.

The second map choice was Eichewalde, a favorite for the Lackawanna College squad.  Anthony Smith (Gamertag: GummyPWNS) saw his first action of the season in at tank. The Saints started the map with a strong defense, holding back the Falcons without any forward progress. Lackawanna College tried their teleport strategy, but St. Clair knew it was coming. On the defending round, the Saints again dove onto the Falcons, capturing the point quickly and decisively.  

On the final map of the night, Lackawanna College selected Route 66. In a shake up to the line up, the Falcons pushed the payload with their own dive composition but were stuffed after the initial push. On defense the Falcons went with a bunker strategy with Missael De Jesus (Gamertag: Lord Yakuza) playing Bastion.  After the initial opening team fight, the St. Clair moved the payload over the line to take the series 3-0.  The Falcons held tough in the end but came up just short.
