Scranton, PA -Â Lackawanna took both ends of its doubleheader against Scotland Post Grad. In the first game the Falcons outscored a pesky Scotland team for 13-7 win. In the second game, Lackawanna 10-runned Scotland in five innings for a 12-2 victory.
In taking a game one victory Lackawanna took a 9-1 lead after four innings. Scotland narrowed that gap with three runs in the fifth, another in the sixth and two more in the seventh. The Falcons held off Scotland's rally with Dave Curreri's RBI single in the fifth andÂ

In game two Scotland took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. It would be the only runs the Scots would score as the Falcons scored three, three, five and one run in the next four innings to take a ten-run lead and a premature end to the game.

Those shots would be the Falcons only extra-base hits of the game. Ernst also had the only multi-hit game (3-3-3-6) and recorded three of the Falcons' four hits. The only other hit was a base hit byÂ
John Heltebran.
Matt Stam pitched three shutout innings in the five-inning contest and received credit for the game.
