Scranton, PA - Lackawanna College was on fire this evening in tonight's NJCAAE Spring Valorant match versus Fort Scott CC. The match of choice was Bind with the Falcons starting out on attack as per usual and their offense was unstoppable. AJ "gummypwns" Smith opened up the first round with a beautiful 3-piece that started the charge for Lackawanna College. For the remainder of the Falcons' attack, the pushes were aggressive, the comms were spot-on and the utilities and ults were undefendable. Michael "MaRs" Bochnovich was 12-0 at one point and had been holding on to the same weapon for more than 6 rounds, making excellent use of it throughout. It wasn't until the 10th round that the Gaming Greyhounds were able to counter the Falcons' attack and win a round of their own. At the side change, once again the Falcons defense seemed a bit on edge as they lost their first round on defense. FSCC charged onto B site with aggression and caught Lackawanna College off-guard in order to show them they still had some fight left in them. FSCC managed to win 2 more rounds on their attack but the Falcons managed to plant their feet on defense in order to win the match in the 17th round with a score of 13-4. MaRs sat atop the leaderboard with a KDA of 20 / 5 / 1, making great use of Jett and her extremely maneuverable skillset.
The Falcons Valorant squad moves to 7-1 in the NJCAAE Spring Valorant Season and will be back on-stream Friday, 4/9 @ 7 PM EST. Be sure to tune into our Facebook and Twitter for scheduling info on our next Valorant opponent!
