SCRANTON, Pa. -- The Lackawanna College Valorant team completed their regular season without a loss in NJCAAE play, thanks to their latest win, a 2-0 affair over Grays Harbor College on Thursday night.
The first map started out somewhat shaky for the Falcons (9-0) as the Chokers was able to win seven rounds between offense and defense. Luckily for Lackawanna College,
Douglas Morrissey (Gamertag: Globe) showed up to play tonight and finished the first match of the series with a KDA of 26/11/8.
Edwin Acosta (Gamertag: Axomaly)Â held second place on the leaderboard with a KDA of 28/11/3.
After a brief intermission between maps, the Falcons pulled their game together and come out swinging in the second round. Lackawanna College played both sides of the spike with aggression and intensity. Grays Harbor was still putting up a fight, but they would only manage to take away two rounds during this match. Not a single Grays Harbor player finished with a positive KDA, which goes to show how well the Falcons were playing. By the end of the second and final match of the series, Lackawanna College had won with a score of 13-2. Acosta sat atop the leaderboard this time wth a KDA of 26/6/2 with
Nathan Ayers (Gamertag: Quakian) right behind him with a KDA of 14/10/10.
