Newton, NJ - The Lackawanna College men's soccer team dropped their season opener to Sussex County Community College. The Skylanders took the win with a 5-1 margin.

Sussex took a 3-0 lead into half-time. In the second half Lackawanna played solid defense and cut into the Skylander's lead when Logan Sullivan scored with 23:33 left in the game. Unfortunately, Sussex scored two more goals late in the game to seal the outcome.

Lackawanna will retake the pitch next Saturday, April 23rd, when they travel Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, to play Harcum College.
