Scranton, PA - The Lackawanna College Overwatch team met their greatest adversary yet this spring season and suffered a crushing defeat in tonight's NJCAAE Spring Season matchup. From start to finish, the Bismarck State Mystics were causing problems for the Falcons on every map. Lackawanna College fought tooth and nail in every team fight but could not get the upper hand. Every time the Falcons would gain some momentum, the Mystics would regroup and come barreling onto point to break up the Falcons' hold. It wasn't until the final map after being down 0-2 that the Falcons would step up their strategy and give Bismarck State a challenge of their own. The last map of Hanamura is arguably Lackawanna College's best map and they proved that tonight by capturing both points, following suit with the Mystics successful attack. In the final seconds of the Falcons' push, Nathan "Quakian" Ayers delivered a crucial D.va Bomb that wiped out 5 BSC players, pushing the map into overtime. Unfortunately, Bismarck State had time on their side, and they used this to their advantage to quickly dismantle the Falcons' defense and win the match. It was a valiant effort by Lackawanna College but tonight, their undefeated run came to an end.
