Scranton, PA - In the nightcap of Saturday's basketball doubleheader, the Lackawanna College men's basketball team was within three points of tying Jamestown in the final minute of play when the Jayhawks clinched a 96 – 91 victory with a half a minute in the game. It proved to be a disappointing loss for the Falcons since they erased a 12 deficit in the second period to put them in a position to tie the score at the end of the contest.
Five Falcons scored in double figures, with Nashawn Johnson and Ahmir Elizy leading the pack with 18 respectfully. Following that duo were Jaylen Davis with 14 and Jalen Cassidy and A'quele Adderly, both with 12.
The Falcons will return to their home court tomorrow to take on the Niagara County Community College. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this game is not open to fans but will be live-streamed at www.youtube.com/lackawannacollegefalconsÂ
